[Update: Due to technical issues, Speed Brawl has been replaced as the free game of the week by the excellent Minit. It is currently unclear when Speed Brawl can be given away].
Today, Epic changes its offer of free games and allows you to catch A Plague Tale: Innocence and Speed Brawl for free. This is a good time to catch A Plague Tale especially as it was the sequel announced at this year’s E3. Plague Tale tells the story of the brothers Amicia and Hugo, who are hunted by the Inquisition in fourteenth-century France. The game portrays the horrors of that time in a very thoughtful way, from the war to the Plague, and the brothers have to face many horrors in their journey.
Jo I really liked the game, the only thing that spoiled her slightly was her fascination with building rat obstacle races, even writing this, I would like to exaggerate. It was certainly a memorable experience, a game he tried and most of all managed to offer an alternative to combat, because not all games need bodies piled up by the dozens.
Speed Brawl is a hybrid of side scroll runner / runner with some seriously slippery animations. On each route, you are supposed to reach the goal as fast as possible, but waves of enemies try to put you in danger, of course. I like the artistic style of cartoons and there are a lot of characters to get to know, they even tell their story with visual pieces of conversation in the style of the novel and cut scenes from comic panels. Definitely worth a look.
You can get both games Epic games store from August 5, at 8 in the morning PTD / at 5 in the afternoon [BST] to August 12, at the same time. Until then, you can still grab the current free games, Mothergunship and Train Sim World 2.
