Wholesome Direct at this year’s E3 seems to have a very common theme: cats and comfort. Kitten Cup Studio’s Pekoe seems to combine these two perfectly, as it’s a game about running a small cat tea house while befriending your feline clients.
There will be over 10 different animal friends to meet, with seven different tea houses to serve a cool beer. Each character will have their own likes and dislikes, from the way the tea is prepared to the cup where it is served.
Making tea for different characters will build relationships and bring you closer. Pekoe will offer a background story on what a cup of tea means for each animal friend through rituals, ceremonies and a good old-fashioned chat. You will also be able to update and personalize your tea house with different pieces of decoration, including objects that your new cat mates will give you.
We're excited to share our latest game trailer, which shows some features never seen before: we can't wait for you to mix tea and friendships in the tasty world of Pekoe 💖🥰 pic.twitter.com/geEXEBE9DiJune 12, 2021
It seems to be a pretty deep tea making simulator, as you will choose your own tea leaves by learning when, where and which leaves are best to take to get the perfect cup, while knowing how to make different teas. as you collect more recipes. Everything looks incredibly brave and super relaxing to boot; nothing more cozy than a hot drink and a furry friend.
Pekoe will be released sometime in 2022, and you can do it wish list on Steam Right Now.
