House of Ashes, the third of eight games planned at the Dark Pictures Anthology, has today secured another small-sized trailer. While the first trailer showed the setting, as did star Ashley Tisdale (not yet officially confirmed), this trailer is more focused on establishing a spooky mood. We already know that House of Ashes tells the story of a military unit that awakens something better by falling asleep under a Sumerian temple, and in this trailer, it seems to be exactly what is happening; as a soldier crosses the temple, he passes to a companion, who by his appearance has had a little accident.
Technically, this is the first official trailer for the game, as what was released earlier was a post-credits teaser of Little Hope, the anthology's latest game. In response to the trailer, several fans have already begun to wonder if everything is just a hallucination, which, if you know how the previous Supermassive games end, is an absolutely fair question to be asked at hours 'now. The fact that soldiers look for chemical weapons does not help in this regard either; the idea that soldiers are looking for chemical weapons in Iraq from all over is a bit disconcerting, but it shouldn’t be judged. House of ashes too soon.
A look at the actual House of Ashes game is supposed to take place next Thursday, May 27th. I look forward to some fun ways to play with a friend.
