The next role-playing game from the creators of the Suikoden series is on its way to Xbox and PC via Game Pass. Both Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, a surprise derivation, will launch the service after collecting $ 4.5 million on Kickstarter in 2020.
I’ve never played any Suikoden games, but people are sure to be thrilled that both Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano, the minds of much of the series, are making a new role-playing game. According to Kickstarter, Eiyuden has a traditional party system for 6 people with “meticulously created” 2D sprites and 3D backgrounds.
Surprisingly, Xbox has been announcing this launch partnership for a long time since the release of the two games. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, a new game tested in the trailer, will be released sometime in 2022 and Hundred Heroes will not arrive until 2023, a delay from the original scheduled release date.
A new one Steam page for Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising details that this is an action RPG "set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes" that includes "city building mechanics, fast-paced combat and an important story for to several of the Eiyuden Chronicle: Cast of One Hundred Heroes ".
Here is the full synopsis:
"Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an urban construction action RPG set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle. Weave pre-war tales of various characters who will eventually become your companions in the Eiyuden Chronicle.
"The game will introduce a part of the cast of Eiyuden Chronicle characters into an original story with exciting action and engaging construction elements.
"There might even be some small perks for players who relate the game to Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes."
