Evil Dead: The Game is the focus of the Saber Interactive World War II study on the genre of zombie killing. Focused on cooperative play, players take on the role of several recognizable characters from the Evil Dead movies, including Ash Williams. Sounds pretty funny, with a focus on melee combat, extravagant weapons and fun lines. Originally released this year, it has now moved to February 2022.
"Hey, great players, we're aiming for a new release date to give the team a little more time to make sure this is the ultimate Evil Dead experience you've all been waiting for." , explains the game's official Twitter announced today. "This extra time also allows us to implement a single-player option that will allow you to enjoy the game when you don't have your co-op buddies."

It's probably a good move: with Back 4 Blood looming, the undead landscape is a bit crowded, though it means Evil Dead: The Game will be released in a matter of weeks after the Rainbow Six is released. In addition to the basic cooperative game, Evil Dead will also have some form of PvP.
