Genshin Impact gets its first crossover event with Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy.
MiHoYo announced the collaboration on Twitter, revealing that he will be a cry character, with a bow and also completely free. This makes her the first five-star character to be given away to Genshin Impact without having to throw herself on a banner, which is pretty neat. As long as you are at least level 20 adventure, it will land in your mailbox as soon as the event begins. There’s also a free four-star bow to grab, but sadly it seems exclusive to PlayStation users.

Our PlayStation friends will receive it a month in advance, when the Genshin Impact 2.1 update arrives on October 13th. PC gamers will be able to pick it up on November 24 or when version 2.2 arrives. It will be available on PlayStation until the beginning of version 2.2, while PC players will be able to get it until the start of the maintenance of the 2.3 update, probably sometime in December or January. It won't be available after that, so be sure to sign in and get it for free. According to GamesRadar, you can make a blatant use of the new PlayStation cross-safeguard to use it on your PC early, if you have access to the platform.
Genshin Impact 2.0 has just been released this week, bringing a new area to Inazuma and the fantastic sword cry Ay Cree. The adorable archer Yoimiya, a fireworks maker, and the small ninja Sayu will also arrive in future banners.
