The processor of this laptop is an 11th generation Intel Core i7 11800H CPU located above the Tiger Lake-H battery. This is an 8-wire / 16-wire chip with a 2.3 GHz base clock, a maximum turbo frequency of 4.6 GHz and 24 MB of L3 cache.
Gigabyte links it to a GeForce RTX 3060 mobile GPU based on Nvidia's state-of-the-art Ampere architecture. System builders have a lot of leeway in setting up Nvidia's new mobile GPUs, and as for the 3060, the power wrap can range from 60W to 115W and the magnification clock can be configured from 1,283 MHz to 1,703 MHz.
