Goblinization Day it has happened and it has happened, and unfortunately none of us have spontaneously become trolls or orcs. Fortunately, GOG allows us to live out our cyberpunk elf fantasies by giving away all three tickets to the Shadowrun Returns trilogy over the next few days.
GOG is currently in the last days of its big summer sale, with a lot of discounts on absolute bakers (we’ve even compiled our own collection of the best to begin with). But until 13:00 UTC on Monday 28 June, you can also pick up Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director & # 39; s Cut and Shadowrun: Hong Kong for free.
Beginning with Shadowrun Returns in 2013, the revival of the classic Harebrained Schemes desktop scene was a solid, albeit technically disappointing RPG, and when Shadowrun: Hong Kong closed the trilogy, the format was starting to show its wrinkles. But this middle entry, Dragonfall, is an all-time story that tells a stellar story of crime, intrigue and dragons in the heart of Berlin.
“I’m going to remember Dragonfall for a very, very long time,” T.J. Hafer wrote in our review Dragonfall. "When the subject of great role-playing stories comes up, I'll mention it with the same breath as Dragon Age or Knights of the Old Republic. It may lack the visuals and cinematic drama of a more budget production. big, but no heart is missing ".
All three can be picked up by heading to the GOG homepage before Monday, although you must agree to sign up for the store’s newsletter. And if turn-based, very complicated role-playing games are still a little too “modern” for you, don’t worry; GOG has also discounted a lot of old ZX Spectrum games.
