Griftlands reaches 1. 0, as klei turns its sale to the publisher into a festival

Klei, the studio responsible for games like Don & # 39; t Starve, Mark of the Ninja and Invisible Inc., has a sale at this time of year. By 2021, it is turning this publisher sale into an event called Klei Fest, which celebrates all its games and offers discounts of up to 75%. To kick off the Klei Fest, Griftlands sci-fi cover science fiction will leave Early Access on June 1st.

In Griftlands, you play as one of three space rascals on a planet full of slugs and dogs. Your goal is to survive and make a profit in a world full of bounty hunters and mercenaries, and fights and negotiations unfold as card games with a different fight for each.

Klei has proven to be one of the best studios in using Early Access with games like Don & # 39; t Starve and Oxygen Not Included. Griftlands has been in Early Access since 2019, and since then, Kevin Forbes of Klei says, “We’ve added two additional player characters, dozens of new nPCs and bosses and hundreds of cards since then, all with the 39; help from our community. "

During the Klei Fest, a time-limited event called "Midsummer Cawnival!" will run in Don’t starve yourself together. "Our survivors will be greeted by the enigmatic Corvus Goodfeather," says Klei, "who needs a little help preparing the holidays for his fellow crows." A special course will also open at Hot Lava, which will pit players against Lord Sludge for a reward that will only be available during the event.

The sale will begin on June 3rd.
