Publisher Deep Silver is causing a restart of Saints Row and has been more or less confirmed by Geoff Keighley, who will host Gamescom’s first real-time broadcast next week.
He Saints Row official website has been updated with a large image of a brick wall that says "restart". Keighley tweeted Friday that the Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation will "direct" her with ads, a reference to the Saints Row character.

Saints Row's Twitter account confirmed that the reboot will be a "completely new game" and "not a remaster or a remake."

It’s been six years since we last saw the 3rd Street Saints in Saints Row 4: Cat Out of Hell, which was an epilogue expansion for Saints Row 4 in 2013. Financial report 2019 that the studio was working on a new Saints Row game, but did not share any details at the time.
