Forza Horizon 5 got his big map revealed earlier this week and James has already done so I had some thoughts on that: has a large volcano, there are many sand dunes to launch and urban street races can be left behind. Now, YouTuber Don Joewon Song has uploaded a long video with a generous amount of free roaming the open world, so we can get an idea of what it’s like to be on the map.
If you’re looking for wide, long, gently curved roads, Forza Horizon 5 will obviously have plenty of them. So did England, but instead of large deciduous trees, the roads are lined with cactus. The video follows a custom Toyota Supra 2020, as it accumulates a lot of dust and mud along a calm Mexican coast.
The images are in 4K and look great, although Forza Horizon 4 also looked great. The series has already nailed open-world arcade racing and it doesn’t look like Playground Games is wrapping up the formula here, though you can expect some good technical updates such as enhanced ray tracing audio and engine sounds. We'll see how it sinks when Forza Horizon 5 is released on November 9th.
