The JRPG Metal Max Xeno tank battle gets a PC port.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn will bring the 2018 PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita version to Steam to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series. If you’ve never heard of Metal Max until today, don’t worry: the games have had a minimal presence in the West, with Xeno: Reborn only the third game in the series to receive a version outside of Japan. It is also the first game to get a PC version, as it has spent its life on Nintendo and PlayStation systems as well as mobile phones.
Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Metal Max Xeno puts you in the steel toe boots of Talis, his trusted tank, and a literal dog with a rocket launcher strapped to its back. Completing a crew of survivors, the story focuses on the revenge of a supercomputer and all its subordinates. Tanks play a huge role in combat, with the ability to completely sweep new parts and vehicles. The most important question: can you pet your dog friend? Yes, yes you can.
Metal Max Xeno: Reborn hits Steam sometime in 2022.
