The King of Fighters 15 has suffered another delay, bringing its release date back to 2022.
The latest installment of the fighting game series was announced at EVO two years ago, originally scheduled for launch in 2020. It was then rolled back to 2021 and today SNK has announced that it will be rolled back by at least six months before 2022. "The development schedule we set out to achieve at the beginning has been affected by the ever-increasing cases of COVID-19 in Japan," he said. an update to the SNK site announced. "In the end, we have made the decision that the quality of the product must be the first and, therefore, with this decision a modified launch window appears. We sincerely ask for your kind patience and understanding, as our development teams they continue to work hard on KOF 15 as we approach its release ".
While this is now the second delay of King of Fighters 15, SNK has been pumping game trailers fairly regularly in recent months. More recently, we saw the character reveal Chris, who hadn’t been around for a while, as well as the trailers for Blue Mary, Shermie, and Leona Heidern characters.
