Of course, I don't know much about tree felling. So I’m willing to believe the developer of the cooperative game Lumberhill when I’m told that being kidnapped by pterodactyls is part of the lumberjacks ’experience as flannel shirts.
Launching alongside its latest trailer for the PC Gaming show, Lumberhill wants to cut down what Overcooked was for food preparation. Up to four flannel cats run around a map, solving wood-based challenges such as logging, building bridges and (in a rather strange twist), grazing animals. Hey, it’s 2021, we all have to find side gigs somewhere.
The other twist, though, is that our cats are throwing themselves through time and space, a multitude of woodcutters from all over history to put wood together. Different maps will make you fight pirates, rolling pandas and defend yourself from pterodactyls. Frankly, I would try to unite the lumberjack scene if I had to deal with this nonsense.
Lumberhill is already out Steam.
