In a recent blog post, Microsoft encouraged everyone to "get nostalgic" with new Microsoft Teams funds. The backgrounds feature highlights from Windows ’legacy, such as the Clippy puzzle, Microsoft Solitaire, and that grassy field that was everyone’s wallpaper in the early years.
Prove where it's due: They're nice-looking backgrounds, definitely desktop wallpaper material if you don't like having artistic video call backgrounds. My point of agreement is with a part of the accompanying speech for the Paint-inspired background: “A product of the 1980s, Paint was first introduced in November 1985 as part of the first version of Windows, Windows 1.0 And while the original Paint is still loved by many ongoing artists, its successor Paint 3D was finally released in 2017. "
Paint 3D was hated in its release and I object to the implication that Paint 3D is the successor to Paint in anything other than timeline. Microsoft suggested removing the original Paint in 2017 and it was such an unpopular decision that they returned it to the Windows Store after an online request and then returned it to a built-in OS program, where it belongs, in my opinion.
These backgrounds are an attractive attraction for nostalgia, as is Paint, with its main functions of "cropping", "scribbling" and "drawing a big red arrow", so stop trying to make it Paint 3D steps. It will not happen.
You can search for funds on the Microsoft blog, and you will potentially discover that you also have an exciting opinion about some part of the history of Windows. Maybe about Microsoft Solitaire? It was integrated into the operating system for over twenty years, after which they returned it with ads that you must subscribe to to remove them.
