Here’s one more chance to buy a high-end Nvidia RTX Series 30 GPU at MSRP. At least that's what the rumor says: the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti will arrive on June 3 and the RTX 3070 Ti on June 10.
Nvidia has not confirmed any cards directly, however WCCFTech claims to have information regarding the release of the two 30-series cards that are rumored and cites these two release dates.
The dates also match previous rumors suggesting the same timeline, so while waiting for a last-minute shake-up, it looks like we’ll see these cards pop up around Computex, which kicks off the June.
Both cards have been floating on the air for a long time, although they may have been transformed and changed since the beginning of the year. The RTX 3080 Ti, in particular, has been transformed from one proposed the GA102-250 GPU on the GA102-225 card you reported earlier, which includes fewer cores and less VRAM. It is still said to house 80 SM for a total of 10,240 CUDA Cores, which are many for any manufacturer.
The RTX 3070 Ti is likely to include the GA104 GPU found on the RTX 3070 up to the RTX 3060 Ti and the mobile RTX 3080. Again, we're guessing the exact specification, but it looks like there's a 6,144 CUDA Core configuration.
Prices are even more speculative right now, although the $ 999 price of the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT may provide some indication of where the RTX 3080 Ti is located.
Roughly, we can also guess the price of the RTX 3070 Ti. The RTX 3070 costs $ 499 and the RTX 3080 $ 699, which means the RTX 3070 Ti will inevitably fall between the two. We can expect $ 549, but it also seems appropriate $ 579 to match the RX 6800. If Nvidia really believes it has the performance to improve the Radeon by a margin, there is no doubt a price of $ 599.
