The latest developer diary for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous provides us with an update on how things are coming along with the RPG, where you can become an angel and ride a velociraptor in battle. This is the fortress town of Drezen, "the largest fantastic fortress we've ever built," as the Owlcat Games video says.
Wrath of the Righteous is about leading a crusade against hordes of demons, and when it begins, Drezen has been lost by these hordes for 70 years. It is up to you to recover it in the name of the queen, with the form of the siege depending on your decisions. The choices you make change the city after you resettle it as well.
The novelties of Wrath of the Righteous are the mythical paths, legendary journeys that redefine your character, which could become a liquid, an angel, a demon or a walking swarm that wants revenge. The example of city alterations is crushing a large old ziggurat in the middle or growing your own forest. “Drezen is a mirror of the world around you,” says narrative designer Arseniy Krymov. "Is you."
Locations like Drezen will be flatter than their previous Owlcat game equivalents. Pathfinder: Kingmaker, explains the development diary, where the camera could not be rotated (unless you have downloaded a file mod for that). Since Wrath of the Righteous allows you to rotate the camera like a dizzy bat, places like Drezen can be designed with more levels and obstructions.
