Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto games can include weapons, crime, and antiheroes alike, but those games also have to do with music. The GTA series regularly includes some of the best soundtracks in the game, and its iconic radio and bumpin & # 39; dance clubs it means players are not only immersed in violent robberies, high-speed chases and battles with police, but also in a musical world.
It was the case that Rockstar Games has announced the creation of a new record label. It is associated with CircoLoco, which is described (by CircoLoco) as "one of the most influential brands in world club culture". The new label, called CircoLoco Records, will release his first album called Monday Dreamin & # 39; on July 9.
“Music is key to Rockstar Games: it’s part of everything we do,” says a Rockstar Games press release. "Partnering with our CircoLoco friends is part of our ongoing efforts to find new ways to bring the best underground music to the widest possible audience."
"Representing house and techno for more than 20 years through its festivities at the DC10 in Ibiza and around the world, the CircoLoco dance floor has become a major intersection between the music of underground dance and elements of fashion, art and the wider culture, "says the new site of CircoLoco Records. "The release of CircoLoco Records reinforces CircoLoco's commitment to advocating for dance music artists with projection beyond the club."
There is now a track, called Lumartes (Extended) by Seth Troxler, which you can listen to below, and each week a new track will be released until the album is fully released. Other Monday Dreamin & # 39; s artists include Lost Souls of Saturn, Ramp, Moodymann, Butch, Margaret Dygas, Bedouin, Jamie Jones, Tale of Us, and many more.
