Silent hill fans are convinced that a new game will be announced

In April, a trailer for a game called Abandoned by Blue Box Studios was released on the PlayStation channel. (The study later suggested it would hit both PC and PS5, tweeting about it, "The PC community will be delighted".) It is an inaccurate trailer, suggesting a first-person shooter set in a fantastic rural area. There are forests, a sign for “the city of God” and a voice-over that speaks to a community led by “a religious nutjob”.

The Silent Hill community, desperate as ever to hear about a new game in the series, was quickly convinced that Abandoned was a rebirth of Silent Hills, Hideo Kojima's canceled project. The theory has its own subreddit, The blue box conspiracy. Among his evidence is the fact that Blue Box Studios tweeted "Abandoned = (first letter S, last letter L)" and that the director of the studio, Hasan Kahraman, has a surname that Hideo translates into Turkish. It might seem like a piece, but to be fair when Metal Gear Solid 5 was released, it was advertised as a “Moby Dick Studios” project directed by Joakim Mogren, with Joakim an anagram of Kojima.
