Skatebird’s little Tony Hawks (do you understand?) Is filling up to get to the parks later this year, as revealed in a new trailer at IGN’s Summer of Gaming.
The perfect name for a perfect tone, Skatebird is an arcade skateboard game in the line of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater with a crucial difference. Skaters are tiny birds, and are circling the makeshift and proper makeshift parks built around rooftops and furniture.
The best part, of course, is that there is secretly an amazing bird dress up game hidden under all this trick. You can choose from more than 30 types of birds and dress them up with all kinds of hats, scarves and accessories. Damn, you can try it right now at Itch with Itch SkateBIRD x JAZZ MICKLE Pro Cap Wearer makes a Spoopy Combo.
Skateboarding games are in a renaissance moment. Skatebird wasn’t even alone in tonight’s IGN showcase, with the magnificent Olli Olli World showing off his latest tricks. Forget about THPS and EAâ & # x20AC; & # x2122; s Skate: they are the Indians who are cutting a new breed of skating simulators.
Skatebird arrives Steam and Itch.io on August 12th.
