Sovereign Syndicate is an upcoming CRPG from the indie studio Crimson Herring, set in an alternate, steampunk version of Victorian London. So far, there are a couple of sharp points, the first being their randomization, which is based on drawing tarot cards instead of rolling dice. The second is his cast of playable characters.

There are three to choose from ("Character Customization" appears as a feature, so you'll probably be able to edit them) and they look intriguing. Atticus Daley is an alcoholic minotaur who is an illusionist, Clara Reed is a privateer in search of the "courtesan killer" and Otto is an automaton who wants to be more than a robotic servant. They all have "intertwined branched stories," so playing each one can be worth it. Which is good, because they all look pretty cool to me.
