The apex legends streamer becomes the top ranked in a 54-hour marathon session

I like to think I'm pretty decent at Apex, sitting comfortably since I'm somewhere Platinum. And I’m certainly not insecure to see how one of the game’s best players exploded from Bronze to Apex Predator in a single, huge 54-hour mammoth last weekend.

Starting on Saturday, Timmy ‘iiTzTimmy’ One tried to do it all through the Apex rated scale, all by himself, promising not to sleep until he reached Apex Predator, a range reserved for the 750 best players in each platform. That said, An paused to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom, with a brief reset at 48 hours (Twitch’s TOS doesn’t allow you to stream two days in a row).

For the most part, however, An played the ranked Apex for more than two days in a row, and his opponents got tougher as fatigue ensued. Moving to the front rows is a relative breeze (and frankly, it’s unfair for any poor dogs to start qualifying over the weekend), but Diamond proved to be a slogan: take most of the first stream of 48 hours to break through.

54.5 hours and more than 10,000 new subscribers later, a Pred ended early in the morning, landing at a comfortable # 613. This isn’t the first time he’s pulled out a few nights chasing ranks, having previously spent 33 hours shooting Master in March. But breaking up at the top of the ladder seems to have taken almost a full day and I hope you have a good nap to celebrate.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
