A new game trailer for Aragami 2, the sequel to the 2016 indealth stealth action game, fell this morning during the Guerilla Collective Day 2 section. The modified version shown on the show was only 3 minutes long, but developer Lince Works has also uploaded the full 8 minute version with the comments we included above.

Invisible 3D indie games don’t show up too often, so I have high hopes for Aragami 2. Disabilities and the variety of supernatural powers give me big dishonored vibes, except in the third person. We saw a few powers in action, such as a shady cloak and a “get here” teleporting the guards to your location to stab them.

Judging by the show, the level design seems a little more stubborn about where you can and can’t go. I also didn’t see anything suggesting that your ninja character can stand up to samurai in open combat, so I guess Aragami is more than a “pure” stealth game (where avoiding any conflict may be your best bet).

Interestingly, Aragami 2 can also be played cooperatively, although it was not shown in current videos. Lince Works previously announced that the game will be released on September 17, so at least that’s no mystery.
