It is curious to think of a time before buying and selling everything according to paper money or imaginary digital currency. It may not have been that long, but I guess at some point people were just exchanging things for things instead of money, and they never had to think about credit card reward points. You know, exchanging!
This is the world that prepares Trading Time, an adorable new independent dress up game Half Past Yellow. You can watch the ad trailer shown above for today's Future Games Show.
You play a shipwrecked captain recently on an island full of sensitive frog people. With the sound, you’ll spend time running around the island negotiating with locals to find the material you need to fix your boat (or score a beautiful plant for your bonfire). But trades are not always that simple: sometimes an islander only changes for something you don't have and for the person who has it. does to have wants something otherwise, and that person wants something otherwise. A classic merchant chain.
Basically, that’s all we got out of the short trailer. It’s unclear how much trade will play into the game, but considering the name, probably a lot. Half Past Yellow has not yet given a release date, but now you can wish for the trading time Steam.
