The latest update to Street Fighter V adds two new playable characters and has also fixed an incredibly minor issue that fans have been scolding for years. Some have compared Sakura's model to the character selection screen, which provides a small preview of the chosen fighter, with a fish and a chameleon, while others choose to go with "bug eyes", weird or just weird.
Well, don't grimace, because Capcom has changed the look of Sakura and even changed her animations on this screen (thanks Eurogamer).
As one Street Fighter fan pointed out, "Chance and the specificity of this are Capcom's ultimate energy." The designers, for lack of a better term, have given the character model a more likeable expression and the way she now looks at the camera reminds me of Cobra Kai for some reason … but hey, it’s good to know the Street Fighter team’s focus on the important things.
Here you have the old look and the new look in parallel.

The change, please, split the fan base a bit. Some players realize they never knew what they had and mourn the loss of the old Sakura on the character selection screen, while others celebrate the banishment of the fight with their eyes fixed. Street Fighter V players are just united: only Ken's hair looks like bananas.
