A new trailer for Destiny 2's upcoming "Heroes' Solstice" event has just been released, from July 6 to August 3.
Here's what Bungie says about the event in the video description:
"The last city of humanity is built, not of iron and stone, but of heroism and courage. Join your fellow guardians and remember those who were in defense of our home. Eva Levante awaits you at the Tower with words of gratitude and the promise of celebration ".

The booty for the event looks particularly cool: class-specific solstice armor, covered in bright patterns. Players will also be able to collect universal ornaments that match their subclass too glow, along with "new ships, sparrows and eye-catching cosmetics."
Perhaps the bright glow of the hero, both inside and out, will deter players from cheating. It’s a problem Bungie has been trying to fix hire a data scientist to work on anti-cheating systems, as well as publicly put your feet up on prominent cheaters.
