Luckily, Sonic the Hedgehog’s 3D outings have always been limited to a third-person view, which has allowed us to see the creature’s speed from a comfortable distance. Now, a modder has given us a hedgehog vision of Sonic Generations thanks to an absolutely vomiting first-person mod.
Posted on Twitter over the weekend, Sonic modder does Skyth warn that the following footage will hurt your eyes.

Wow, it’s a hard watch. More than a simple zoom of the camera for a closer look, the Skyth mod matches every movement of Sonic's head: swinging, throwing, and spinning at breakneck speeds. Even your basic jump is an absolutely mind-boggling experience. It reminds me of the first attempts to bring Mirror & # 39; s Edge in VR, although this mod is limited to the usual old screens.
Skyth posted the link to download the mod in the responses, recommending that you disable certain particle effects. They also point out that, for obvious reasons, Generations ’2D segments are a little harder to navigate in the first person.
Still, Skyth warns not to jump into it if you're prone to motion sickness: "I'm NOT absolutely responsible for what happens to you, you play at your own risk."
