There is a man named Alex who lives in Australia, and this individual has spent a not inconsiderable amount of money and time on achieving a goal: a Steam profile on the number 69. In a sense, that’s all, that’s the story, but what puts this beyond the mere ridicule of territory is the absolute dedication that has been there in this unique issue.
Alex has 6969 Steam articles. It has 6969 Steam badges and 69 Steam cards. He has taken 69 screenshots, created 69 workshop articles and is a member of 69 groups. His favorite game is The Bunker 69, a kind of visual soft porn novel, of which he has played 6.9 hours. His user profile has 6969 pages of comments, the first of which is from September 2012.
Now, with a little patience, creating some of these numbers would be very easy. But let me tell you – it was awesome how he worked and got the next set of stats right.
As you can see above, Alex has used a game called Zup to explain his Steam username in the showcase of achievements like, of course, 6NACHO9. I wouldn’t forget what we’re here for, right. By then, the account has 6969 achievements and has completed 69 games perfectly. What he let me know is that he somehow managed to hit all those other numbers and then he ended up with an average game completion rate of 69%.
On one level, this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. On the other hand, you have to admire the dedication he has put into it: this guy knows what he wants to represent in the world and he does it in style. What can you say except … beautiful.
